About the Studio

Textiles, pattern, food, gardens: I've spent my life working with my hands, and it taught me how materials behave. How linen softens, how timber wears, what lasts and what doesn't. An architecture degree trained the rest — structure, proportion, light, how a building actually goes together.

Then years in Spain, living in homes that had been lived in for generations — rooms shaped by daily life rather than fashion. That's where I learned what it means for a home to have a story.

I believe a home should feel easy to live in. It should feel like you, support your wellbeing, and keep working as your life changes.

That is what I am working toward in every project. Not a particular style — a home that suits the life inside it.

In practice, this means starting with a conversation. I want to know how your days actually run — where you drink your morning coffee, how you use each room, what's always in the way, and what's never quite found its place.

Let's talk about your home

I'm based in Newcastle and work with clients across the city, Lake Macquarie, Maitland, Port Stephens and the surrounding region. I take on a small number of projects each year — if you'd like to talk about your home, I'd love to hear from you.
