About the Studio

I have been making things for as long as I can remember.

Textiles, pattern, food, and gardens. An architecture degree that trained the spatial eye. Years living in Spain — where I learned what it means for a home to have a story. Everything, eventually, leading here.

I believe a home should feel easy to live in. It should feel like you, support your wellbeing, and be liveable for you now and well into the future.

That is what I am working toward in every project. Not a particular style. A home that fits the people who live in it.

In practice, this means starting with a conversation. Listening and learning your daily routines and habits — where you come in, how you move through the space, where the light falls in the morning, where things land when you put them down.

Who this is for

I work with homeowners who are ready to make considered decisions about their home — people who value natural materials, care about longevity, and want a clear process rather than an overwhelming one. Often they have been thinking about their renovation for a long time and want to get it right rather than get it done quickly.

If that sounds like you, I'd love to hear about your home.

A bedroom with a wooden headboard, a beige pillow, a book titled 'The Alchemist' on a wooden bedside table, a ceramic mug on a black coaster, a curtain, and a notebook on the bed.

The studio is based in Newcastle, working with clients across Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Maitland, Port Stephens and the surrounding region.

I take on a small number of projects each year. If you'd like to talk about your home, I'd love to hear from you.
