Approach

I believe a home should feel calm, supportive, and deeply connected to the way you live.

My approach is guided by the principles of human-centred and sustainable design. I prioritise natural materials, gentle colours, and appropriate lighting, using texture and flow to create environments that feel intuitive and supportive of everyday wellbeing.

As part of the design process, I consider how your home can better support your daily routines—how you move through each space, how you cook, gather, work, and unwind—so the design feels both functional and comfortable.

Every decision is intentional, favouring timeless, long-lasting, and low-tox choices that honour both people and the planet.

Ultimately, my goal is to create spaces that not only look beautiful but feel genuinely good to live in—homes that support your life now and evolve with you over time.

About

With a foundation in architecture and a long-standing interest in materiality and wellbeing, I founded Oliv Interiors as a studio dedicated to creating calm, functional, and enduring homes.

I hold a Bachelor of Architecture (Hons 1) and began my career in design studios in Newcastle, Melbourne, and London. During these years I also studied textile design and travelled widely through the Middle East and Europe — experiences that shaped my appreciation for natural materials, layered textures, and the quiet beauty found in culturally rich, light-filled spaces.

Time living in Spain added further depth, influencing my preference for warm, grounded interiors shaped by history, craftsmanship, and slow living.

After returning to Australia, I continued my creative work through textile and pattern design before completing a Certificate IV in Interior Decoration, bringing together my architectural training, artistic interests, and a human-centred approach to everyday living.

Oliv Interiors reflects this blend of experience: thoughtful, sustainable design that values comfort, clarity, and long-term wellbeing — homes that feel intuitively good to live in and evolve with the people who inhabit them.

If you’d like to talk about your home, I’d be happy to help.
